ForgottenFX Forum Rules

All of the rules outlined in this document will be enforced by ALL ForgottenFX staff members, and it will be up to sole discretion of the acting staff member as to the severity of the punishment. There are many rules, but each one has been thought out, and has been implemented to help and set a model for our site. As we serve all ages, races, and ethnicities on this website these rules have been enacted to help keep everyone happy, and not offend anyone.

I - Forum Rules

1. Please ensure that all posts are posted in the correct category. We have a bevy of forum sections so please try to ensure that your posts are in the correct section. This will help keep the forums organized, as well as aid in getting your questions answered quicker.

2. Treat other members with the respect, do not attack, flame, bash, or attack any other member in the forums. If you have an issue with a member send them a PM, keep it off the forums.

3. Absolutely NO inappropriate terms shall be used, this includes but is not limited to; sexist, racist, ethnicity, age, nationality, sexual preference, etc. A breach of this rule will result in your post being edited or removed. If the staff member thinks that the offence warrants it your account may also be suspended, and or banned as well. If you are unsure of how your post will come off, DONT POST IT.

4. Please do a bit of searching before making a post, the forums do have a search feature built in that will help you find what you are looking for.

5. If you feel someone's question is obvious, or has been gone over recently, please do not simply post telling them to use the search feature, try to help them out, and make a note that the forums have a search feature.

6. No posting personal contact information, neither yours, or any other persons personal information is to be posted on these forums. This includes but is not limited to; name, address, email, phone number(S), etc.

7. Each person that uses this site is allowed to create 1 (ONE) account. People found to have more than one account will have both accounts suspended, and or banned.

8. NO discussions, links, or posts about any form of piracy, warez, download requests, etc. Do not even make a post that hints to it, or condones their use, or how to locate them.

9. You are allowed one post bump per 24 hours. Any more will result in your post being removed, and or your posting privileges being suspended.

10. Please attempt to use proper grammar, as well as English in your postings. This makes the forums easier to read, and will help prevent confusion. We at ForgottenFX understand that some people are not fluent in English, though we hope that they will do their best to make their posts readable.

11. NO advertisements. If you have something to sell, or are looking to buy something please post in the Buy/Sell section of our forums. Any advertising will result in the offending text being removed, and possible account suspension/ban.

II - Signature & SOTW Rules

1. Forum signatures, and all SOTW contest will be required to meet the following guidelines.

I. NO larger than 500x100px.
II. Must not exceed 50k in display size, if you have a problem keeping your image this small, make a post and someone can compress it for you.
III. NO Pornography.
IV. You are allowed 3 (THREE) images in your Signature, their combined size must not exceed 500x250, and 100k for the 3 combined images.
V. All signature links must be clean, no linking to pornographic, or other offensive material.

2. If using a stock image, or an image that is not of your own ceration please ensure that you give credit to the original author when posting.

3. When posting a SOTW Please ensure that you let us know the following:

I. What software was used.
II. Time taken to produce the image.
III. If you used a stock image, or other image, a credit to the author as well as a link.
IV. Ensure that the SOTW entrie applies to the current SOTW theme, or requirments. (as set per each contest)



These rules have been enacted to keep our community friendly and fast. If any of these rules are broken, it will be up to the staff member to decide what the punishment will be. If you have a problem please bring it up in a PM and NOT on the public forums.

These rules are also subject to change without warning, as the needs arise, so please check back every now and then to make sure your experience with ForgottenFX remains good.
